Adidas' full Pride Collection

Starting on the basketball court, the brandís Boost-cushioned Crazy Explosive Low gets covered in colored dots across its vamp. The upper-half portion of the shoe is kept all white, while the toe area is filled with black. A translucent black outsole houses the sneakerís Boost cushioning within. From there, the ďPrideĒ collection goes retro with the EQT Support ADV. Inspired by adidas superstar heritage models, this sneaker continues the brandís uncompromising í90s franchise. Here, it gets a multicolor dot pattern on its support wing, a defining feature of the shoe. The shoe that is now part of all sneaker culture gets updated with a new platform sole, perfect for the ladies, with all the essential design remaining unchanged.

The adidas superstar mens returns once more and this time around the Superstar that stands tall is seen rocking the classic White and Black color scheme. Letís take a closer look. For those of you who may not be too familiar, the womenís adidas Originals Superstar Bold is a modified version of the model that has the Superstar upper placed on top of a platform sole resulting in a brand new look and feel. This pair comes with a White leather upper accented by the Black hits on the heel, Three Stripes and tongue branding, as well as the use of Gold on the branding noted on the side panels and tongue. The aforementioned rubber platform sole comes in White to complete the classic look of the shoe.

adidas superstar womens full Pride Collection for this June consists of four sneaker silhouettes: the classic Superstar model, the ever-popular UltraBoost runner, the EQT Support ADV and a basketball performance shoe, the Crazy Explosive low-top. While the design approach for each sneaker was different, each colorway revolves around the same iconic Pride rainbow theme. The Superstar model is by far the loudest design, with rainbow polka dots running the length of the shoe's upper. The shoe made its debut back in 1969, roughly at the same time as the Stonewall Riots and civil rights were very much at the forefront of the national consciousness. Perhaps that's why they went for the showier retro look.

The popularity of retro sneakers has been one of the driving forces behind Adidasí remarkable growth streak over the past couple years. Theyíve perfectly matched up with the marketís appetite for sports-inspired products that are as much about fashion as performance. But the German brandís vault of decades-old designs isnít its only strength in this area. adidas superstar ii has also been introducing new designs in its lifestyle-focused Originals business that are finding a growing number of customers. The company is banking on them to help keep its sales high as demand for retro styles runs its course.
